  • Slice several onions and fry in a 6 gallon.
  • Add whole chickens (if also some joints, add them later), cover with water and bring to the boil
  • Simmer until cooked
  • Remove and take the meat of the bone for serving.
  • The cooking liquid can be used as stock for cooking rice etc. to serve with it or as the basis for a chicken risotto.
