Pot-boiled Chicken
Ingredients
- chickens
- onions
Instructions
- Slice several onions and fry in a 6 gallon.
- Add whole chickens (if also some joints, add them later), cover with water and bring to the boil
- Simmer until cooked
- Remove and take the meat of the bone for serving.
- The cooking liquid can be used as stock for cooking rice etc. to serve with it or as the basis for a chicken risotto.
