What’s that you say…? A NEW camp?! Come join us in the Fens for a short but magical weekend of mystical tales, warm fires, whacky theatrics and silly songs. We’ll make new friends, catch up with old ones, find common ground with trees, gaze at the sky, and fill our tummies and hearts. The silliest billie wins. This is an inclusive camp specifically for campers with additional needs. We particularly encourage applications from disabled children who are new to FSC and would like to try it out!

Camp No. 14 - (Neuro) Spice up your life
Camp Chiefs: Pam Henderson & Rachel Young Organiser: Belinda Bell
Dates: Saturday 24th May 2025 to Saturday 31st May 2025
Ages: 6.6 to 15.11
Fees: £390.00
Join us at Hodore for a week of fun, crafting, and singing! We’ll be enjoying nature in the woods and exploring the local area. Our camp is designed to be welcoming for both children and adults who are neurodiverse. Here’s how we will make it so: - We will go on a day hike from the campsite, so you won’t have to take down your tent. The campsite and lat (toilets) will stay the same. - We will aim to let you know who your staff members are two weeks before camp starts. Your Group Chief will send your parents/carers a photo of the staff so you can see what they look like and learn about their interests. - Your parents/carers will receive a camp plan two weeks before the start date. If there are any changes, we will inform you beforehand, explain why, and answer any questions you may have. - A detailed plan for each day will be available at dinner the night before. - Our caterers will clearly label what is in each meal. The caterers will let you know the menu the day before. They will aim to serve food separately (like plain pasta apart from the sauce). - If you have a special ‘safe’ food, let your parents/carers know, and we will try to provide it (though we cannot guarantee it), or you can bring your own. - You won’t have to participate in clan/cooking for everyone until Tuesday at the earliest, giving you time to get to know your group over the first weekend. - If you find it easier to listen while doing something else, like using a fidget toy or walking around the rally circle, that’s perfectly fine as long as it isn’t too noisy for others to hear. Please bring your own fidget toys, as we don’t provide them. - It’s okay to take breaks from activities or people when you need to. - Some campers may want to discuss their neurodiverse experiences, and we will create space for that. Others may prefer to focus on different activities, and that’s also fine. - If you have suggestions for making the camp more neurodiverse-friendly, please reach out to Rachel and Pam Parents/Carers If your child is neurodiverse (no formal diagnosis needed) and you didn’t inform us at registration, please email child.whitsun.enrolment@fsc.org.uk and we will update our records.

Camp No. 15 - Cairngorms Adventure
Camp Chiefs: Hanna Wheatley & Levi Thompson Organiser: Katy Cawkwell
Dates: Saturday 24th May 2025 to Saturday 31st May 2025
Ages: 11.0 to 17.11
Fees: £390.00
We will walk through the wild and beautiful Cairngorms mountain range in the Scottish Highlands. Most days we will journey with all we need on our backs, travelling light and taking time to enjoy our surroundings, swim in a loch and maybe climb a peak without rucksacks. The adventure will be learning new skills, looking out for each other and making merry on our journey together. This low-impact expedition is for both experienced and less experienced walkers. All campers will be supported so that the level of challenge is right for them. We will send a special mobile kit list to everyone coming on the camp and may well be able to support with lightweight equipment/tent sharing, if wanted.
